John is a Registered Psychotherapist with more than 30 years of experience working in Mental Health and Addictions. Over the course of his career, he has worked with youth and adults dealing with a wide range of challenges, including mental health concerns, substance use, trauma, relationships and life transitions. John believes that good therapy starts with feeling comfortable, heard and genuinely understood. His approach is warm, straightforward and collaborative. He doesn’t believe there is a “one size fits all” approach to counselling and works with each person to understand what they need and what might help them move forward.
